For the second time, a Buscemi track appears on the newest cd of the famous Buddha Bar repertoire. You can find the Chinese bossa song ‘Chop Choy Boogie’ on Buddha Bar Monte-Carlo. 2017 is the the twenty year anniversary of Buddha-Bar Paris, marking a turning point in the history of the Buddha-Bar compilations, both in terms of music and design.
On the soundtrack, it’s DJ Papa, resident of the Buddha-Bar Monte-Carlo since its opening in 2010, who selected new tracks. Originally from Italy, Donato Papadia, known as DJ Papa, began mixing in 1973 in a rather Rock atmosphere, then Soul & Funk.
Curious by nature, he turned to the New Wave, then naturally continued his way to the Techno and House. The arrival of ethnic sounds opens the doors of a new world in which he can fully exist.
The new Buddha-Bar compilation promises you a unique musical journey. You will discover the latest electro & lounge in Ganga, Buscemi, Alfida, André Rizo, Volkan Uca, Marga Sol and Red Axes. Of course, the imaginary “Buddha” is always there, but revised and corrected.
More refined and cooler, it deliberately wants a new modernity, while keeping its chic and trendy.
